The main idea

This module is for elementary and middle school teachers. My goal for this project is to encourage teachers to use their own personal bitmoji in a variety of ways in their classroom. In this module, I have provided several ways that teachers can use this in their classrooms. I hope you find some good ideas to use!

What are bitmojis?

A Bitmoji is a personal cartoon avatar that represents an "emoji." Bitmojis come in a variety of expressions and are a useful tool for enhancing lessons in a visual way. On the app, there are a wide variety of different expressions and moods with all different types of sayings and words on them.

AVAILABLE ON THE APPLE App Store

AND YOUR GOOGLE CHROME BROWSER

Go to the Chrome Web Store and search Bitmoji.
Select and download Bitmoji.
You'll then be taken to a new screen where you can enter your Bitmoji login information from a previously created an account, or you can create a new account.
Then to use it, simply click on the Bitmoji icon next to the URL box and choose one from there.

1. Go to the App Store and download the Bitmoji app

2. After creating your avatar, launch the Settings app from your Home screen.

3. Tap on General.

4. Tap on Keyboards.

5. Tap on Add New Keyboard.

6. Tap on Bitmoji.

7. Tap on Bitmoji again.

8. Tap on Enable Full Access.

9. Tap on Allow.

Now you can use bitmojis straight from your keyboard by tapping on the globe in the corner of your keyboard!

I love this poster that I have made! It is so funny and it adds some humor to your classroom! I used Canva.com

I also used Canva.com to create this. It is a super cool way to incorporate creativity in your classroom.

FUN IDEA: Kids can create their own avatar and make their own bookmarks!

4. STICKERS!

This is one of my favorite ideas out of all of them I think. It adds a personal touch to your students papers whether your grading papers or just going around the room with them!
